2018年3月3日下午15：30，陶文好院长在乐育楼A201主持召开了外国语学院教职员全员大会工作会议。
陶文好院长首先向全体教师致新学期和新年慰问，然后邀请寒假期间赴澳大利亚迪肯大学培训的四位教师分享学习体会，本次培训的主要内容为批判性思维技能与语境转移学习，四位教师都表示在迪肯大学收获颇丰。
陶院长强调教师的发展和学院的发展是一脉相承的，外国语学院今年的办学宗旨将改为教学和科研并重，并特别表扬吕红波老师和刘金哲老师利用寒假休息时间申报项目，钻研课题。陶院长呼吁全体教师做科研从现在、从此刻做起。
SFL’s First Faculty and Staff Meeting for the New Semester
At 3:30pm on March 3rd, 2018, Professor Tao Wenhao, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, held the 1st Faculty and Staff Meeting for the new semester in Room A201, Leyu Building.
Dean Tao first sent New Year greetings and expressed his best wishes for the new semester, then he invited 4 teachers who had been to Deakin University for a winter teacher training program named Contextually Responsive Transfer of Critical Thinking Skills to share their learning outcomes. All declared themselves to have expanded their vision and learned a lot.
Dean Tao emphasized that the development of teachers is in line with the development of the school, which has raised scientific research to a level equally important as teaching. Teacher representatives such as Ms. Lv Hongbo and Ms. Liu Jinzhe were spoken highly of during the meeting for making full use of their time doing project declaration and subject study in the winter vacation. In the end, Dean Tao called on all faculty and staff to start to do research from now on.
