12月6日至8日，2017“外研社杯”全国英语写作大赛决赛在北京大兴外研社国际会议中心举行，我校外国语学院朱悦同学代表广东省参赛并荣获二等奖。
“外研社杯”全国英语写作大赛由外语教学与研究出版社联合教育部高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会、教育部高等学校英语专业教学指导分委员会联合举办，此次决赛汇聚了全国各省荣获写作大赛省复赛特等奖的选手共91名。
英语写作是语言应用性强、涵盖综合知识面广、同时也是教学训练难度大的项目。外国语学院朱悦同学在此次比赛中取得的优异成绩是对我校英语专业教学水平和创新人才培养理念的认可。
Great Achievements Made by SFL Student in the Final of 2017 “FLTRP Cup” National English Writing Contest
The final of 2017 FLTRP Cup English Writing Contest was held in the International Convention Center of Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP) from December 6th to December 8th in Daxing, Beijing. Zhu Yue, a student from the School of Foreign Languages (SFL), took part in the contest on behalf of students from Guangdong Province and was awarded the second prize.
“FLTRP Cup” English Writing Contest is co-sponsored by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, the National Foreign Language Teaching Advisory Committee, and the National English Major Teaching Advisory Committee under the Ministry of Education. There were 91 contestants altogether who were Grand Prize winners from their own provinces gathering in Beijing and competing on the same stage.
English writing is a subject with flexible practicability and a wide range of comprehensive knowledge, thus being difficult to teach. Gratifying achievements made by Zhu Yue in the contest fully demonstrates people’s recognition of the teaching level of the School and the idea of cultivating innovative talents as well.
