2017年9月27日，为了建设优秀外国语学院学生党支部，外国语学院学生党支部举行了党务工作培训，首先重温了党员发展流程，有助于发展对象及积极分子熟知成为一名正式党员的必经之路，争取早日成为一名光荣的中国共产党党员。然后，为了促进支部成员实现行动上入党，介绍了党支部特色活动，如京师家园义教活动、四级帮帮班等，并倡导大家积极参与。此外，培训还强调了党员的权利与义务，并深入学习了党章，要求同学们要学会批评与自我批评。希望支部成员，尤其是支部的骨干成员，都能认真学习，不断提高自身素质，切实发挥基层党组织的战斗堡垒作用、党员的先锋模范作用、以及党务工作者的骨干带头作用。
    上学期推优产生的12名发展对象也在会上进行了思想汇报。从汇报中不难发现，他们在学习上认真刻苦，在生活上乐于助人，在思想上也有较高的觉悟。
    本次培训指导性、针对性、实效性强，同时也是支部成员深入学习党章的良好机会，增强了其责任感和使命感。

               Training Meeting of Student Party Branch of SFL

    Aiming at establishing an excellent branch, Student Party Branch of SFL held training meeting on September 27, 2017. First and foremost, the process of party members’ development was reviewed to get everybody at the meeting, especially the probationary members, acquainted with the process of becoming a party member in the forthcoming future. And then, in order to promote members of the party to be a real member of the Communist Party of China, various kinds of activities such as Jingshi voluntary education activities and Helping CET-4 Class so on and so forth were introduced, advocating individuals’ active participation in the activities mentioned above. In addition, rights and obligations of the party members were emphasized at the meeting, in which requests for students’ self-criticism and criticism pattern and great efforts towards the learning of constitution of CPC. It is hoped that all the party branch members, especially those probationary members to study hard and continuously improve themselves so that they can play an important role in grassroots party organization and set a good example for other party members and workers. The 12 candidate members who were recommended last semester also addressed their reports. Depending upon their reports, it is safe to say that they are helpful and very hard-working, showing strong motivations of joining the CPC.

       This instructive meeting was practical and well-oriented. It provided party branch members a better opportunity to have an in-depth understanding of constitution of CPC and enhanced their sense of responsibility and mission.
