外国语学院举办本学期第三场科研月沙龙
（记者 唐奕）2018年11月5日，外国语学院在乐育楼B107成功举办本学期第三场主题为“中华传统韵文化的对外传播”的科研月沙龙。 活动由院长陶文好教授主持，特邀北京师范大学周流溪教授担任嘉宾。
首先，院长陶文好教授介绍了周教授的学术经历。通过例子，周主张翻译不仅要遵循汉语诗词韵式，还要按照英诗的传统音步，以汉英合璧的手段向读者传达原作的所表达的寓意。同时，周教授用饱满激昂的情感吟唱了古代诗词，在场师生无不因周教授对古代诗词的热爱之情所感染。
沙龙尾声，周教授激励青年一代应该用知识武装头脑，学好英语，提高汉语的国际地位，肩负起传播中华传统韵文化的责任。
The 3rd Monthly Salon for Academic Research of School of Foreign Languages was Held Successfully
The 3rd Monthly Salon for academic research with the theme of Overseas Publicity of Traditional Chinese Rhyme Culture was held successfully by School of Foreign Language in B107 of Leyu Building on Nov.5th, 2018. Tao Wenhao, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, hosted this salon and Zhou Liuxi, the professor of Beijing Normal University, was invited as the guest of honor for this salon.
Firstly, Professor Tao Wenhao shared the academic experience and achievements by Professor Zhou. And then, Professor Zhou, through various examples, proposed not only should the translation follow the Chinese poetry rhymes but also it should also follow the traditional foot of English poetry，conveying the implied meaning of the original works to readers by means of the combination of both English and Chinese. Meanwhile, Professor Zhou chanted the ancient poetry emotionally and enthusiastically in the salon room, with teachers and students present being touched by his passion towards ancient poetry.
Finally, Professor Zhou motivated the teenagers to arm their mind with knowledge, to learn English well, to improve the international status of Chinese and to take the responsibility to publicize Chinese traditional rhyme culture.（Translated by Yan Chengyu）
