On November 26th, the English Corner was held on the first floor of the Library at 7 p.m.. Students joined in it actively. Mr. Christopher Dockstader and Dr. Phillip Stevenson attended that activity.
Mr. Christopher Dockstader talked about how to keep fit and healthy. He mentioned the causes of diseases, such as, DNA, eating habits and living habits. He also shared his own experience on a traffic accident with the students and the treatments he had in the hospital. “All you needed to do in the hospital was relaxing. But the hospital charged me a lot,” he joked.
Dr. Phillip Stevenson and the students discussed on funny topics. They talked about how to dress up like a Chinese zombie, bringing a pet to live in another planet in space and Drecula, a famous romantic but bloody story of vampire. Those interesting topics attracted students a lot.
Students could not only practice their oral English, but meet many friends. Come to English corner, and it’s always a good experience.
