The Japanese Cultural Festival, which is the opening ceremony of the 2nd International Cultural Festival was held by SFL at 4 p.m. on March 30th .
Teachers from SFL attended the ceremony. They were Ms. Zhang Minli, Mr. Zhen Wenkang, Ms. He Bei, and Ms. Zhang Zhuoshi. Japanese teacher Mr. Wataru Sato and Ms. Yamato Miyuki also attended the ceremony. Mr. Naito, a senior Japanese teacher who taught Kyudo in our university, Ms. Meng Zimin from Franchise Management School and Mr. Gen An from College of Design were invited to the festival as honorable guests.
After distinguished guests and teachers delivered the opening addresses, the festival began. The exhibition area was divided into many regions: The “Chinese and Japanese Cuisine” attracted students with the Japanese food, such as sushi, bean curb, glutinous rice dumplings and so on; The "Maid Cafe" provided many Wish Bottles for students to make wishes; The "Game Area" welcomed students to play games and entertain themselves; In addition, the haunted house was the most popular. There were girls dressed in kimonos walked around, presenting the traditional costume of Japan.
The festival was very successful. Students from both our campus and other universities all enjoyed themselves.
