The 6th English Speaking Contest was held by the FFL in Liyun Building Room A112 , at 7:00 p.m. on October 29th, 2010. Mr.Christopher Dockstader, Mr.Chad Thomas Glass, Ms. Wu Wenxia and Ms.Cao Yingying were invited to be the judges of this speaking contest.

The topic of the speaking contest was Like Attracts Like. There were althogether 24 contestants from different grades of the FFL. At the beginning, the three hosts made a brief introduction to the rules of the contest. While the first twelve contestants finished their speeches, the hosts invited the audiences and the contestants to play a game which helped to relax the tense atmosphere. Finally, after the latter twelve contestants finished their speeches, the results were announced. Han Duo, a sophomore, won the first prize and the best stage award and the best pronounce award .Xie Wei and Su Yi won the second prize and Cong Menglu ,Chen Anqi and Wei Ze the third prize.
