In 2005, the Minster of CPLP (Portuguese language: Comunidade dos Paí sesde Língua Portuguesa) announced that May 5th was the Portuguese Culture Day. It was so meaningful to hold the Portuguese Corner today.

At the beginning, Alba asked students to discuss their favorite movies and music. One of the students introduced a movie, The Revenant performed by Leonardo DiCaprio, who won the Academy Award in Oscars. After that, Alba talked about some Chinese movie stars with students.

What was related to the movie was music. Music played a vital role in movies. Alba introduced her phone ring to students and she also played some music, including Hello, sang by England singer, Adele; Sleeping Princess, sang by Chinese singer G.E.M and some Portuguese songs which she had presented in class.

Furthermore, students learned some general knowledge about Euro-currency and Portuguese words. They improved Portuguese skills gradually through Portuguese Corner.
