On November5th, the 6th Shang Jiao Business English Speech Contest was held at Lize D106. Ms.Zhang Ling, Ms.Li Dan, Ms.Wu Qian and Ms.Luo Min from the School of Foreign Languages were invited as judges of the competition. And 14 teams from different Schools of our University took part in this contest with their creative business proposals and high enthusiasm.

After two and a half hours’ competition, teams of Rainbow and Silence Wings won the First Prize by their novel ideas and excellent teamwork. Besides, eight teams were awarded the Second Prize and the Third Prize, particularly, Mai Zhiqian, Zhong Yiheng and Hong Jiaxin were awarded the Prize of Outstanding Contestants due to their impressive performance.

This contest showed a high level of English proficiency of contestants, which made a profound impression to judges and the audience. More importantly, as a Business English Speech Contest, it offered a unique opportunity for both contestants and the audience to improve their ability of writing business proposals and also to learn from each other.
