Helping CET Class in BNUZ was held the lecture in Liyun Building on the afternoons of June 3rd, aiming to fulfill the spirit "Mass Route"education and specifically to offer academic help to the College English Test. Ms.Wang Yan and Ms. Liang Yanting, from the School of Foreign Languages, were invited to give the lecture.

Ms. Wang analyzed the translation part of CET 4, especially the features and the test skill. She laid great emphasis on the topics of Chinese history, culture, economy and social development. In addition, Ms. Wang proposed the importance of accumulation about relevant background knowledge. The detailed explanation of translation about words, sentences and contexts and further explanations of the difference between Western and Eastern culture and the interest of language all aroused students’ interest. Ms. Liang, who has a profound attainment of writing, gave a professional suggestion about avoiding the common mistakes, by analyzing the type of writhing and solutions. After the lecture, Ms.Wang and Ms.Liang both gave positive respond to deal with the confusion and difficulties during the preparation of the test.

Helping Class in BNUZ, available for all students in BNUZ, has been conducted for 4 years and is a typical activity held by the Student Party Branch of the School of Foreign Languages and was warmly welcome by students from other schools.
