The Staff Branch of SFL held the third branch meeting in Leyu B107 at 5:30 p.m. on March 15, 2017. Secretary of Staff Party Branch Xie Qingli presided over the meeting, and the Party committee member of BNUZ and General Secretary Houjian from Party Branch of School of Applied Mathematics of Party were invited to attend the meeting.
General Secretary of Party Branch of SFL, Professor Tao Wenhao first introduced the significance of the meeting. He believed that ethics construction is a heart scale of every educator. He praised the outstanding teachers in SFL who have been always ready to dedicate, give priority to the public interest and concern less about personal benefits and losses. Whether they are in teaching or in administrative positions, they are always being strict with themselves, and never are late or leave early. Staff members must maintain this dedication.
Later, the staff party members discussed the theme of ethics construction and proposed that even should actively and conscientiously carry out criticism and self-criticism. On their current work, they pointed out the problems and shortcomings of their own, and put forward effectively measures. Everyone agreed that the grass-roots party members and teachers should strengthen the political learning, improve the ability to keep pace with times, enhance the consciousness of innovation, and clear their responsibility for taking the lead. Through this self introspection, self education and self improvement, the work idea and the goal has become clearer.
Finally, all the members of the Party branch carried out a review to strengthen the supervision of the party.
Ms.HouJian gave full praise to the preparatory work, the practice of "Two studies, one action" and the party activities. She said, as Party members and teachers, we should enhance consciousnesses of core and unity, and make a reasonable balance between work and family. Besides, we should explore actively and really carry out the "Two studies, one action" in the teaching work.Then the teachers can better play an important role in the grass-roots party organizations and make a good example for other party members.
