On January 13th, 2017, Professor Xie Wenting and Professor Xie Qingli, Vice Dean of School of Foreign Languages, visited the freshmen and their instructors in the military training.
On behalf of the school, Professor Xie Qingli expressed his appreciate for the hard work of teachers and instructors. Especially, he spoke highly of students who kept training even in the rainy day. He hoped instructors consider the school as their home, the teachers and students their family, which would help to successfully accomplish the military training. Professor Xie Wenting also had a cordial talk with students, showing great concern to their health and training effectiveness. All students felt the warm and expressed their gratitude.
Then the instructors gave expression to their feelings. They said with a smile that they developed a kind of special revolutionary relationship with students which means they share both happiness and woe with each other. Meanwhile, the perseverance showed by students was praised by the instructors. They also expressed their thanks to the university and the school for their care and support, and they would respond with a satisfactory training effect.
The visit ended with waves of applause, full of warmth and reliance, which would be of great importance to the big success of the military training.
