丹桂飘香，荷花满塘，又是一年迎新时。8月30日早上7点，外国语学院迎新工作正式启动。一张张热情的笑脸，一句句亲切的问候，一项项贴心的服务，欢迎着来自祖国各地的莘莘学子。

迎新工作如火如荼，到处都是忙碌的身影。学长学姐们不厌其烦地回答着新生、家长们提出的各种问题。新生细声地叫着“学长学姐”，老生们也开心地介绍这介绍那。人头攒动，秩序井然。迎新工作虽然繁重，但现场的老师和志愿者们依旧不觉疲惫。新生家长们对参与迎新的老师及志愿者们充满感谢与赞许。

同时，学院领导陶文好院长、谢庆立副院长、谢文婷副院长也亲临现场，慰问和询问迎新的进展情况。陶院长亲切地和参与迎新的老师、志愿者们交谈，了解并指导现场工作，对迎新工作给予了肯定。学院领导的到来充分体现了外国语学院对迎新活动的关心和重视。

尽管新生人数众多，但迎新工作依然有条不紊地进行着。相信在外国语学院师生的一致努力下，本届新生能很快适应崭新的大学生活，为外国语学院注入新的活力、创造新的辉煌！

Warm Welcome to SFL Freshmen of 2016

On the early morning of August 30th, the freshmen of School of Foreign Languages started their enrollment procedures at Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai, full of expectation for the new life in BNUZ.

In the registration camp, the enthusiastic student volunteers were busy answering questions from freshmen and their parents. It became hotter as the sun climbed high in the sky, yet the passionate and energetic student volunteers took an active part in helping freshmen, which received great acclaim.

Showing great concern for the freshmen, Professor Tao Wenhao, Dean of School of Foreign Languages, Vice Dean and Associate Professor Xie Qingli, Vice Dean and Associate Professor Xie Wenting appeared to welcome the new students. They attached great importance to the enrollment of the freshmen, and also spoke highly of volunteers for their genuine devotion to the work.

With the help of both teachers and students, the freshmen will surely adapt to the campus life quickly and breathe new life into the School.
