5月6日下午三时，由外院团委主办的第六届外语文化节之国际文化街活动在会同坊前正式拉开帷幕，参与国际文化街活动的九个摊位分别代表法国、葡萄牙、韩国、意大利、泰国、日本、加拿大、中国共八个国家，院党总支副书记王燕老师致开幕词，来自英语专业和日语专业的教师及辅导员也出席了开幕式。

参与活动的每个摊位都精心准备了极具代表性的各国风情美食、语言文化产品。有来自欧美的法式长棍面包、巧克力喷泉、葡国风情的土豆饼、意大利面、澳门鸡尾酒；也有来自亚洲的韩国乌冬、年糕、泰式鱼蛋和日本料理及啤酒。参加活动的同学热情高昂，活动互动性强。

一街一世界，国际文化街以食品、文化创意产品为媒介，成为了解世界的微窗口，也提升锻炼了同学们的组织、管理能力。

Opening Ceremony of the 6th Culture Festival Held by School of Foreign Languages

At 3 p.m. on May 6th, the International Culture Court of the 6thForeign Culture Festival, held by Youth League Committee of SFL was beginning at Huitong street.

There were nine stalls presenting cultures of eight countries including French, Portugal, Korea, Italy, Thailand, Japan, Canada and China. Wang Yan, Deputy Secretary of Party Branch of SFL delivered the opening speech. Teachers from English major and Japanese major, and school counselors also attended the opening ceremony.

Each stall in this activity prepared the specialties and language cultural products which can fully present each country’s characters. Such as European Baguette, chocolate fountain, Portuguese potato cake, spaghetti, Macau cocktail. As for Asia cuisine, there are udon, Topokki, Thai source cuttlefish, beers and some Japanese cuisines. Students participated the activities with the the passion and have a deep communication.

A world in a street. The international Culture Court became a window of the world, which helped us  know the world by the cuisines and cultural creative products. On the other hand, it also improved students organization and management ability.
