5月20日，外国语学院主办的 “感恩母校·庆祝建校十五周年”笔译大赛于丽泽楼D203与D204举行，此次大赛分设汉译英和汉译日两个语种翻译，吸引了来自全校的英语、日语爱好者100多位参赛选手。 笔译的原文由校办提供，内容围绕珠海分校建校十五周年的丰硕历史展开。该比赛旨在通过翻译我校校史以及相关人文知识，将分校建校十五周年校庆与专业学习相结合，增强了广大学生对我校的认同感，展示我校学生的外语水平。

笔译大赛作为外国语学院主办、学生党支部承办的特色活动，为同学们提供了一个展现翻译能力的平台，丰富了课余活动。在母校十五周年校庆来临之际，该学术性比赛的举办不仅彰显了我院的办学特色以及办学理念，考察了学生对专业水平的灵活运用，还以一种特别的方式向学校十五周年校庆献礼。比赛结果将近期由外国语学院专业老师评审选出。

Translation Competition for Celebrating the 15th Anniversary of BNUZ

A two-hour translation competition, with more than 100 participants, involving Chinese-English translation and Chinese-Japanese translation was held in Lize Building D203 and D204 on May 20th by School of Foreign Languages, presenting a special gift for celebrating the 15th anniversary of BNUZ.

The original text of the competition, provided by the University Office is centered on the development and achievements of our University in the past 15 years. Students’sense of identity has been lifted and language proficiency has been developed by combinging the major learning and anniversary celebrating.

The translation competition was also one of featured activities of the Student Party Branch of SFL and it provided a platform for students to show their translation competence. Furthermore, the competition not only manifested the school-running characteristics but also gave rise to provide students an opportunity celebrating the birthday of our University. The competition papers will be marked and evaluated by teachers from the School of Foreign Languages.
