10月31日晚7点，北京师范大学珠海分校第一届外语短剧大赛在励耘楼A202举行。王娜老师、兰静老师、Dr. Aviva Shimelman、Mr. Christopher Dockstader、Mr. Wataru Sato、Mr. Hiromasa Meguro和Ms. Kayoko Matsushima应邀出席，现场座无虚席，气氛热烈。

七组参演队员经过认真排练和精心准备，将精彩纷呈的表演带给在座观众。Empress街舞队活力动感的开场舞后，12级英语1班赫里奥斯小组的The Gift of the Magi别出心裁，留下了“难道好心好意也有错？”的疑问，引人深思。来自12级英语3班爱你一万年小组的《大话西游》以周星驰同名电影为蓝本，道出了至尊宝和紫霞仙子的轮回之缘；14级日语1班初雪樱花小组的《惊喜》则取材于日本学生的生活细节，讲述了一个关于学生时代暗恋的青涩插曲。

粤语文化协会友情演出，带来的粤语短剧，讲述了一个发生在抗日战争时期的革命喜剧。一句句地道的粤语，不仅让人于幽默中得到休闲和放松，且让人深刻领会到粤方言的蕴涵。

戏剧的成功之处不仅在于曲折的剧情，演员的演技和投入程度更给戏剧以温度，使整部剧霎时鲜活起来。据悉，这些剧本均来自于同学的原创或改编，锻炼了同学间的团队合作能力和英文写作水平。

The Final Round of Short Drama Competition of BNUZ was held at Liyun A202 at 7 p.m. on October 31st, with Ms. Wang Na, Ms. Lan Jing, Dr. Aviva Shimelman, Mr. Christopher Dockstader, Mr. Wataru Sato, Mr. Hiromasa Meguro and Ms. Kayoko Matsushima being invited as guests and judges.

The Gift of the Magi aroused viewers with a good question: if a good person was treated like this then what’s the meaning of being good? The wonderful play named A Chinese Odyssey impressed the audience with a happy rewritten ending: Zhizubao and Fairy Zixia finally lived together forever. And a light drama Surprise showed an episode about young love of student hood that could happen to everyone. While the Cantonese Opera offered a story about Anti-Japanese War, feeding students with the attraction and beauty of Cantonese. All this seven groups with rehearsals and makeup, presented with vitality.

It was not only the plot but the performance of actors that gave mildness to the whole play. In The Final Round of Short Drama Competition of SFL, there was a lot of learning as well, not only in the cultivation of team sprit but as well in practicing spoken English and written English.
