At 7 p.m. on November 10, Mr. Tim Musgrave, a foreign teacher from School of Foreign Languages, held the weekly Movie Night in Lize C109. The movie showed was "One Flew Over the Cuckoo''s Nest".
In the beginning, Mr. Tim Musgrave put about twenty CDs on the desk, so that students could choose their favourite. And they decided to watch the movie——One Flew Over the Cuckoo''s Nest.
This movie was about a man, Mcmurphy, who was sent to a mental hospital and tried to break the ridiculous system of the hospital. Led by Mcmurphy, the other ten patients became different, for they began to fight for their human rights. Mcmurphy treated them like his family, and he took them to go fishing, play basketball and play cards and so on. With the development of plots, sometimes students burst into laughter, and sometimes they became silent. At last, because of Mcmurphy'' death, they all burst into tears.
This movie helped students know more about the situation of the U.S. in 1970s. Some students said that they also learned something about humanity from it.
