11月29日，寒冬带着丝丝冰冷悄悄降临珠海，但寒风吹不走同学们学习的热情，在图书馆一角，日语角如常进行。佐藤航老师和松岛加代子老师参加了此次日语角。

众所周知，大和民族是一个谨慎细致的民族，这一点在日语的敬语系统中体现的尤为明显。当被同学们问道比敬语更能表达尊敬的方式时，佐藤老师和松岛老师介绍说，敬语在日常生活中已经足够表明对对方的敬意，在古代的日本，对于皇族则有更加尊敬的表达，但那属于古文范畴，如今已不常用，但依然可以在大河剧等时代剧中听到。

接下来，大家谈起了古代日本神话传说。据老师介绍，日本现在的神话传说大多与《古事记》有关。此书虽完结已久却一直未受重视，直到江户时代，人们才重新发现了它的价值并加以研究。

此次日语角不仅使同学们对敬语运用有了更深的了解，还带大家一起领略了日本传统历史之美。

Japanese Corner: Traditional Mythologies and Honorifics

The Japanese Corner was held in the library lobby on November 29th. Mr.Wataru Sato and Ms. Kayoko Matsushima attended this activity.

As is known to all, Yamato is a cautious and meticulous nation, especially being reflected in its honorific system. When one student asked about in what way could people express their ideas more reverently than just using the honorifics, Mr. Wataru Sato and Ms. Kayoko Matsushima told him that honorifics were enough to show respect to others in everyday life. In ancient Japan, there were more reverent expressions used to address imperial kinsmen, but they pertained to ancient proses that people do not use today. However, people could still hear them in some costume dramas like Taiga. After that, they talked about ancient Japanese mythologies. According to the teachers, most of the mythologies were related to Records of Ancient Matters( Kojiki). People rediscovered its value until the Edo period and began to study it.

Today''s Japanese Corner was an opportunity for students to have a deeper understanding of traditional mythologies and honorifics. Moreover, students also appreciated more about the beauty of Japanese traditional culture here.
