（记者 吴玉婷）2018年12月7日，由北京师范大学珠海分校校团委主办的第十四届“励耘·平和杯”英语演讲比赛在乐育楼C204顺利落下帷幕。
此次演讲分为两轮，围绕“我眼中的优秀传统文化及如何传承我国的优秀传统文化”主题展开。第一轮比赛中，来自不同院系的八位选手们从传统文化的面临的现状、传播形式、青年一代所承担的责任等， 阐明了自己的观点。 第二轮环节，要求从第一轮中胜出的选手用英语阐释中国博大精深的成语及其典故，让现场的外教更充分、更深入地了解了中华传统文化。
正如各位参赛选手所讲，中华优秀传统文化植根于每一个中国人的基因里，我们需要做的，就是将其发扬光大，向世界展示中华优秀传统文化。
The 14th English Speech Contest "Liyun Cup" was held successfully by the School of Foreign Languages of BNUZ in C204 of Leyu Building on December 7, 2018, sponsored by Gateway Language Village.
The speech was oriented around the topic MY OPINION TOWARDS CHINESE TRADITIONAL CULTURE AND HOW TO INHERIT CHINESE CULTURE and was divided into two rounds. In the first round, eight competitors from different faculties expounded the meaning of traditional Chinese culture from the situation of traditional Chinese culture, communication and responsibilities that young generation should take. During the second round, the selected winners of the first round explained the meaning and literary quotation of Chinese four-character idioms in English, making foreign teachers understand Chinese traditional culture better.
Like what competitors said, traditional Chinese culture is deeply rooted in every Chinese gene and all we need to do is to inherit it and demonstrate it to the world.
