At 7 p.m. on April 12, Dr. Jonathan Ogden, one of the native English teachers from the School of Foreign Languages, gave a lecture entitled "Dream Your Way to Reality" in Lize C107.

At the beginning of the lecture, Dr. Ogden showed students a video, which was so inspirational that made all students buck up. Then, he tried to show the importance of dreams by the stories of celebrities and the experience of himself. He also provided a method, to make a Dream Board, to help students realize their dreams.

“How to make a Dream Board” and “how to use it” were the main part of this lecture, which were taught by Dr. Jonathan. First of all, you must make it clear what your dream was. Then you need to write it down on the Dream Board. At last, you should make efforts to realize it. He gave students a lot of examples how he used the Dream Board to make his dreams, about family, career, travel, etc., come true.

Dr. Jonathan told students that you could have a new Dream Board after all your dreams came true. He said that you were not the person who was told who you were, but the person who you wanted to be. Students who attended this activity were eager to make their own Dream Board to begin their dream-chasing journey.
