The School of Foreign Languages (SFL) has been dedicated to establishing educational practice bases in Macao, Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas countries and attracting more students to attend the Undergraduate 2+2/1+3 International Program (2012) between SFL and Griffith University in Australia. On December 10th, 2011, from HHCKLA Bubbhist Leung Chik Wai College and Lok Sin Tong Leung Chik Wai Memorial School, a group of 76 visitors including the Principals, teachers and parents’ representatives and students, visited our university. In the morning, Professor Tao Wenhao, Dean of the SFL, hosted a symposium to the visiting group. And the Associate Professor Xie Wenting, Vice Dean of SFL, introduced the Undergraduate 2+2/1+3 International Program (2012) in the symposium.
At 2 p.m. the campus tour began. The student assistants from SFL introduced the teaching buildings, the library, Lize Lake etc. in Cantonese to the visitors. At the same time, student assistants and the students from Hong Kong communicated with each other about the school life in Hong Kong and mainland China. The campus tour enabled them to see broad prospect of setting up educational practice bases with the SFL. They indicated that they would like to encourage their students and children to study in the Undergraduate 2+2/1+3 International Programs provided by SFL.
Finally, led by Professor Tao, the staff of SFL saw them off after taking photos in front of the Confucius Statue.
