5:20 p.m., June 17, 2010, the Faculty of Foreign Languages held a thesis writing lecture for juniors of English majors in Room A102 of Liyun Building. The lecture was given by Mr. Xie Qingli.

Mr. Xie first of all pointed out the importance of thesis writing for undergraduate students. He then introduced the schedule of thesis writing and the orientations students could choose from. Finally, he gave a number of suggestions as to how to write the thesis better and more efficiently.

This lecture enabled the students to know better what thesis writing is about and urged them to plan their time reasonably for their thesis writing.
