On May 19th, the hot weather never curbed the students’ enthusiasm. The students had gathered together before Ms. Alba Irene.García Troya came.

First of all, Alba asked the students to express their life with some simple words in Portuguese. After that, she taught them some more expressions of describing one’s life. And then the students introduced the upcoming festival—Dragon Boat Festival. Alba asked students about their arrangement of their holiday and the students shared their plan with Alba.

Alba also told the students that she would leave the school and go back to Spain at the end of this term. The students felt pity but Alba said that she prefered to travel around the world to gain her experience rather than stay in the same place all the time. She encouraged the students to go traveling because it was the best time for them to enjoy their life.

Alba shared a lot of Portuguese knowledge and experience this year. It is hoped that Alba and the students can enjoy the Portuguese Corner in the rest of this semester.
