On the hot evening of May 25th , students came to the library on time and had a chat with Mr. Martin Stannard and Mr. Robert Mateja.
Today, two blue buses were parked in front of the library. Some students told Martin that these buses were Voluntary Blood Donation Vehicle, and some of them participated in the donation activity. Martin told the students that he had donated blood 4 or 5 times and he thought blood donation was significant. Then, he talked about his brother. His brother was a “sport man” because he liked to attend many kinds of exciting sports. However, Martin preferred to read and write, which could make him feel peaceful .
Robert liked the show Game of Throne while only a few students watched it, and he thought it was difficult to understand for many people. Besides, he preferred dramas rather than action movies. Compared with Captain America, he liked Mad Man more.
The students had a good time in the English Corner and looked forward to the next one.
