In the afternoon of June 5th and 12th, Helping Class in BNUZ held the lecture in Liyun Building, aiming to offer help to the College English Test. Ms.Wang Yan and Ms.Liang Yanting, from the School of Foreign Languages, were invited to give the lecture.

Mrs. Wang analyzed the translation part of CET 4, particluarly the feature and the answering skill. In addition she explained the reform of CET 4 and laid great emphasis on the topics of Chinese history, culture, economy and social development. In addition, Ms. Wang proposed the importance of accumulation about relevant knowledge. She also gave detailed explanation of translation about words, sentences and contexts and  further developed the understanding of the difference between Western and Eastern culture and the interest of language. Mrs. Liang, who has a profound attainment of writing, gave a professional suggestion about avoiding the common mistakes, by analyzing the type of writing and solutions. After the lecture, Ms. Wang and Liang both dealt with the confusion and difficulties during the preparation of the test.

Helping Class in BNUZ, available for all students in BNUZ, is a typical activity held by the Party Branch of the School of Foreign Languages has been welcomed by students greatly.
