To respond the Party’s call of carrying out intensive activities throughout the Party to study and practice its mass line, and sponsored by the Student Party Branch of SFL, Li Yun Volunteers Association of SFL held a competition of creative public-interest advertisement entitled “Public Interest &University & Me” which was cooperated with Li Yun Volunteers Association of School of Art and Communication of BNUZ, and Volunteers Association of SUN YAT-SEN University Zhuhai Campus during 9^th May to 12^th June, 2016.

Focusing on the key aspects of Party affairs of the University and based on the development of students, the competition required participants to design posters with public-interest advertisement, which stimulated students’ enthusiasm for the public welfare. At the same time, this activity enriched students’ campus life, expanded their horizon, and encouraged them to pay more attention to their surroundings. The activity was responded by students with great interest. And the unique creations of participants were highly praised by judges and students.  

This competition, highlighting both innovation and public interest, was the first joint activity held by associations from SUN YAT-SEN University and a school of BNUZ since the founding of our university. It had a great influence not only in BNUZ but also in SUN YAT-SEN University. As what Professor Shi Tao, a judge from School of Art and Communication of BNUZ said, “I had never seen an activity with such high-quality held by a university association and other school.”  This competition actually embodied characteristics of the Student Party Branch of SFL that it always carries out the strategy of innovation-driven development, and combines the Party affairs with the building of campus culture of BNUZ.
