9月26号晚六点半到八点，我校英语角活动于图书馆一楼大厅顺利开展。
来自加拿大的外教Brad与同学们交流了个人及友人对港台地区及日本等地的印象及看法。Brad透露台湾是他和朋友感到最有好感的城市，同时他还风趣地讨论了台湾腔。在他眼中，香港则被定义为国际都市。在谈及日本时，Brad对日本动漫表示赞许，但昂贵的物价却令人苦恼。
我校留学生也参与了此次活动，其中两位巴基斯坦学生凭借着一口流利的粤语和普通话让现场的学生感叹不已。
活动结束后，许多同学仍在原地进行英语交流。在此次英语角中大家都有了不一样的收获和更多张口说英语的勇气，让我们一起期待下一次英语角吧！
The English corner was held in the library hall on September 26th,which lasted from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. Students from different majors went there to have a conversation with foreign teachers, and also shared their own experiences.
One of the foreign teachers Brad mentioned about TaiWan, Hong Kong and Japan. He told students that Taiwan was his favorite place as well as his friends’. After that they also talked about the cute accent of the local.Then their topic changed to Hong Kong,which is defined as an international city .When referring to Japan, he said that the cartoon was really fantastic.But at the same time,many people complained about its high price.
During the event,some overseas students who come from Pakistan also joined in the conversation.They could speak not only Chinese but Cantonese fluently ,which extremely surprised the students.
When the time was up, many students still stayed at the hall to have more conversations with each other. The English corner provided students with the encouragement of speaking English in front of others. Let’s look forward to the next English corner!
