我于2004年8月27日到分校外国语学院报到并开始工作。此后，开始教授大学英语、综合英语、英语语音语调和英译汉等课程。2005年9月，我担任了外国语学院英语系05级1、2班班主任，直至2009年仍担任05级1班班主任。2006年9月，被任命为外国语学院英语系副主任，全面负责英语系的教学安排和学生管理工作。2006年12月，被任命为外国语学院直属党支部书记，至2010年6月卸任。2007年作为副主编参编《大学英语四级710分新题型全攻略全真模拟卷》。也是在2007年，我被选为校“优秀共产党员”，同年，获得“感动外院人物”奖。2009年，获得校“优秀班主任”奖。2010年7月，外国语学院成立党总支，经选举我被任命为党总支副书记，负责学院的学生工作。

来分校外国语学院工作之前，我就读于广东外语外贸大学。1997年9月至2001年6月，就读于广东外语外贸大学英语语言文化学院，专业为英语，方向为高级翻译。2001年9月至2004年6月，就读于广东外语外贸大学英语语言文化学院，专业为外国语言学及应用语言学，方向为翻译。在校期间，曾获专业奖学金、优秀团员称号等。曾担任院刊编辑。

我出生于广东韶关。小学和中学时光均在家乡度过。因为家庭熏陶，自小喜欢看书写字。英语是念书期间最喜欢的科目。语文第二。我的理想是要博览群书，希望有生之年能多读好书、读好多书。

I started to work at Faculty of Foreign Languages, BNUZ, on August 27, 2004. I had taught such courses as College English, Comprehensive English, English Pronunciation and Intonation, and English-to-Chinese Translation during my stay here. In September, 2005, I was selected as the head teacher of the freshmen class 1 and class 2, whose major was English. In September, 2006, I was appointed Vice Director of the English Department, in charge of both teaching affairs and student affairs of the department. In December, the same year, I was appointed to the Secretary of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Party Branch. In 2007, I, as an associate editor, took part in editing one of a series of textbooks on College English Test Band 4. In the same year, I was awarded “Excellent Party Member of the University” and was given “Touching Faculty of Foreign Languages” award. In 2009, I was given “Excellent Head Teacher of the University” award. In July, 2010, I was elected and appointed to the Vice Secretary of the Party General Branch, Faculty of Foreign Languages. I’m responsible for the student affairs.

Before I came here, I spent seven years learning English at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies---four years for my bachelor degree on English, and another three years for my master degree on linguistics and applied linguistics. My research area covers translation activities and the theory.

My hometown is Shaoguan, which is a beautiful mountainous city located in the northern part of Guangdong Province. I spent my childhood and teenage years there. My parents love reading books, so do I. When I was at schools, my favorite course was English, and second favorite one is Chinese. My dream is to read as many books as I can, and as many good books as I can.
